A birthday needs a thing that happens, not just a place people stand around. An hour with a clock on it does that work for you.
Why it works for birthdays
Everybody is involved, nobody needs to be athletic or good at trivia, and there's a natural photo at the end. The game runs 60 minutes, which is long enough to feel like an event and short enough to leave room for dinner after.
Kids and teens
There are no age restrictions on our games. For players under 14, an adult needs to be playing along or chaperoning. We don't sell kids' tickets — children 5 and under can tag along free, and anyone 6 or older pays full price. Our rooms are not scary.
Adult birthdays
Room 13 (9/10) if the group is competitive, Alice in Wonderland or NORAD: 1963 (both 7/10) if it's a mixed crowd. NORAD takes up to eight, which usually fits a birthday group in one room without splitting anyone up.
Bigger parties
For 15 or more guests Sunday through Thursday there's group pricing, and we have private meeting space if you want somewhere to do cake before or after. Tell us what you're planning.
The one logistical thing
Ask everyone to arrive 15 minutes early. Games start exactly on time, and the birthday person should not be the one standing outside waiting for a cousin who is circling for parking.

Are there age restrictions for a birthday party?
There are no age restrictions to play. Players under 14 need an adult playing with them or chaperoning. Children 5 and under may tag along free; anyone 6 or older pays full price.
Are the rooms too scary for kids?
No. Our rooms are not scary. We may use a spooky theme for immersion, but that is all.
Can you host a large birthday group?
Yes. We host up to 26 players at a time and offer group pricing for 15 or more guests Sunday through Thursday.
